Enjoy Spring Skiing With a Little Help from Our Ski Shop in NH!

Ski shop in NH from Ken JonesWe’re sure that you’ve heard people experiencing what is commonly known as “spring fever.” They go on and on about how tired they are of dealing with all the wonderful things that come with winter. The winter weather, the onslaught of snow and everything else we love here at our ski shop in NH are common topics that haters espouse for months on end.

“Oh, I had to shovel my car out of the snow!” Waaahhhhhhh…quit complaining and ride it.

No, we kid here at Ken Jones Ski Mart. What is it that they say? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure? Well, we say that one man’s snow bank is another man’s kicker. It’s true that winter is winding down but by no means does that mean that it’s time to stop skiing! We’re in the midst of that wonderful and rare time of the year when skiing conditions blend into a perfect mixture of warm weather, less (hard) ice and a remaining abundance of soft snow that creates a truly existential skiing experience.

Sunny Skies and Perfect Terrain

What we’re talking about is spring skiing – the few weeks we get to ski while basking in the warm spring sun and to maybe even shed our heavy winter jackets to comfortably fly down a trail in a t-shirt! (As well as pants. That goes without saying…right?) Our ski shop in NH is buzzing with stories of paradise-like conditions experienced by skiers from all over New England. More often than not, the further south you go, the less people seem to realize that our favorite skiing spots are still providing riders and skiers with enough snow to keep enjoying this season!

This means that less people know that the skiing conditions are still amazing and that you’ll most likely see less people taking advantage of said conditions. So you’re heading to mountains and parks with less people competing for space and more room to do your own thing. Also, the snow isn’t nearly as hard as it was a few weeks ago so you can go ahead and really nail down your ability to grab big air or perfect your rail slides! However you chose to take advantage of spring skiing, remember that our ski shop in NH has everything you need to keep you in the game!
